Husson University and 海角情 Reach Agreement to Facilitate the Transfer of Course Credit
BANGOR AND CALAIS, MAINE 鈥 February 12, 2015 – Husson University and 海角情 (海角情) have entered into an agreement that will create a smooth process for the transfer of credits from 海角情 to Husson. A signing ceremony, representing the culmination of the agreement process, took place earlier today at 1:30 p.m. in the Boardroom on the second floor of Riverview Hall on 海角情鈥檚 campus in Calais, Maine.

The agreement covers the transfer of credits from the following 海角情 associate degree programs into the corresponding Husson University bachelor鈥檚 degree programs.

The agreement also specifies which 海角情 courses can be used to meet general elective and major requirements at Husson. Individual course equivalencies listed by program are included in the agreement to assist in the student advising process.
In assessing the significance of the agreement between the two organizations, Husson University’s College of Business Dean Marie Hansen said, “Students who successfully complete approved coursework in 11 different 海角情 programs can now seamlessly transfer their credits to corresponding bachelor鈥檚 degree programs at Husson University鈥檚 College of Business, College of Health and Education, and School of Science and Humanities.鈥
鈥淲e are excited to work with 海角情 to provide their students with a more seamless credit transfer process,鈥 continued Hansen. 鈥満=乔 students interested in furthering their studies at Husson University will now be able to save time and avoid unneeded credits as a result of this agreement.鈥
